Heidi Queen, an heiress of the wealthy Queen family, is tasked by her grandfather to go undercover in their subsidiary to probe into its financial irregularities. Disguised within the ranks, she encounters her ex-boyfriend Johnny Kendall and the cunning Joanna Queen, who's mistakenly identified as the heiress by company leaders. Seizing the opportunity, Joanna and Johnny join forces against Heidi. Meanwhile, Heidi aids a delivery guy who's the CEO Joe Gibson in disguise. Joe detests Joanna, whom he mistakenly believes to be his betrothed, and becomes intrigued by Heidi's wits and kindness as she uncovers leads on the financial debacle. Johnny and Joanna try everything to drive Heidi out of the company. However, Heidi considers Joe as just a nepotism placement. Joe approaches Heidi to make her pretend to be his girlfriend in order to break off an arranged marriage with the Queen family. Heidi and Joe agree to call off the engagement, hitting it off right away. Joanna unexpectedly sees Joe at a banquet, realizes his true identity, and tries to seduce him as a way to climb the social ladder. Heidi and Joe resolve each situation one by one. Their act becomes complicated when Joanna realizes Joe's true identity and tries to ensnare him. Reena Queen, another Queen relative, enters the company to seduce Joe and claim status. During a revealing encounter, Heidi and Joe intensify their fake relationship, while investigating the company's losses and finally uncovering the real villains: Reena's family. Ultimately, Heidi reclaims her rightful position, resolves the corporate crisis, and finds true partnership and love with Joe.
